Almunia has been linked with a return to Spanish football following reports that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is looking to bring in a new No.1 this summer.
The Gunners have been linked with a move for Fulham veteran Mark Schwarzer.
“I don’t need to convince anybody, I just do my job,” Almunia told Sky Sports.
“I have a couple more years on my contract and that’s it, I’m an Arsenal player.”
