Anelka, linked with big spending teams in the USA and Russia among others, will be in demand, and former teams such as Paris St. Germain and Arsenal are in the market for a forward too.
He handed in a transfer request accepted by Chelsea yesterday.
“I’ve known for a little while where I’ll be on 2nd January”, said Anelka.
