Aquilani struggled with injury and form in his first year at Liverpool, and as a result was sent on loan to the Serie A side, whom he has starred for this season.
The 26 year old told Sky Italia: “I came here to find continuity after years in which I didn’t play a lot. I arrived here on loan, also risking something. The sum to sign me permanently is high, but I’m tranquil.”
