Cesc told AS: “When I finish my time in the Premiership, I would like to play in the Spanish Liga. The philosophy of many of the clubs is attractive to me and that’s why I would like to return one day.
“It has crossed my mind to return, that’s clear.”
He added: “Personally, I have never received interest from Real Madrid, but I know there was contact with my agent last summer. But it finished with him, no-one contacted me.”
