Arsenal managed to beat Partizan 3-1 in Serbia in the Champions League on Tuesday and Fabianski saved a late penalty in the game.
Wenger told Sky Sports: “You have seen the Lukasz I see everyday. It is encouraging for him, he had a good game.
“I don’t know what I will do yet (for the Chelsea game on Sunday), we will see.
“It was important he had a good game because he has a lot of talent and I am glad he showed that tonight.”
