Wenger said: “If you look at the investments of Manchester United this year you’ll see they have spent a lot of money on foreign players.
“I do not know what is behind these comments from Alex Ferguson, but if I was a foreign player at Manchester United I would not be very happy if he said these things.
“But I’m ready to take the blame for all the problems of English football if that is what he wants.”
