Wenger told Sky Sports News: “I want to keep him, I signed him.
“He has had a difficult season this year because he’s a very ambitious player.
“He is a player I personally rate highly. He has had a difficult injury and he is just coming back now to his best.
“What he’s showing now shows how big a player he can be for the club. I do not want him to leave.
“There are no special differences other than the usual ones every player has with his partners – there are no problems with him at all.”
