Reports in Spain claim Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keeping a close eye on Granero and could make a move for the midfielder in the January transfer window.
Granero made just eight La Liga stars for Real Madrid last season and could be interested in a move away from the club.
The 24-year-old has two seasons left on his £1.5million a year contract with the Spanish giants.
