The Mirror reports that Wenger has made an offer which is roughly a third of Bolton’s valuation on the England international.
Bolton, who are ready to sell Cahill at a fair price, have rejected the bid.
Cahill’s current contract with Bolton is set to expire at the end of this season, but the Wanderers are not prepared to accept a low offer for the highly-rated defender.
