The 23-year-old left the Danish side and joined Arsenal as a 16-year-old, but admits he would be keen on a return to the club.
“I have a dream to play for FCK [FC Copenhagen]. When I one day return back home to play football in Denmark, it will be for the Lions [FC Copenhagen],” Bendtner told BT.
“I have always wanted to play for FCK, ever since I was a child.
“But I left the club for Arsenal when I was sixteen and have therefore never tried it.
“FCK is my club – no doubt about it.”
