Juventus are reportedly keen to sign the Holland international on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent deal.
The Old Lady are still in talks with Elia’s agent, Klaus Vink.
Vink told calicomercato.com: “We are dealing with Juventus, but right now there is no real news.
“There are several things which we must discuss. We need the time. I think we can complete the transfer within the window.”
Arsenal could be ready to rival Juventus for Elia, with a late cash offer for the winger.
