The Uruguayan striker admits he would be delighted to move to the Italian giants before the transfer window closes.
“I have received an offer from the Nerazzurri [Inter]. It would be like a dream come true to move to Milan and play for Inter,” Forlan was quoted as saying by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Uruguay international went on to say that Inter face stiff competition though as he’s also been in touch with Galatasaray.
“The only Turkish team that has contacted me are Galatasaray. They’re a great club. I haven’t been in touch with Besiktas or Fenerbahce. There’s not much difference between Turkey and the rest of Europe financially. Turkey is a great country and it would be nice to play there some day.”
Forlan’s current contract with Atletico Madrid is set to expire in the summer of 2013.
