Spanish newspaper AS says Atletico are keen to sign Dominguez on a free transfer in January.
The 28-year-old’s contract with the Russian champions is set to expire on December 31 and the Argentinian forward will be able to leave on a free transfer.
Reports suggest Atletico will face competition from Villarreal, Mallorca and Espanyol for the forward.
