The new deal will keep Verbeek at AZ Alkmaar until the summer of 2015.
Verbeek told Uefa’s official website of his renewed terms: “I have been working very well with everyone here at the club, so I am extremely happy with it.”
AZ Alkmaar are currently third in the Eredivisie table.
