Ajax are looking to bring in a new defender this summer as Jan Vertonghen is expected to leave the club.
Ajax are keen to bring in Moisander to replace Vertonghen.
“Ajax have informed us about their interest. That’s all there is to say for now. We are not thinking about transfers at this crucial stage of the season. We’ll look at it at the end of the campaign,” Stewart said to Voetbal International.
Moisander’s current contract with AZ Alkmaar is set to expire in the summer of 2014.
