But the former Real Madrid ace insists he is committed to the Lupi.
“Every day my agent [Herminio] Menendez kept me informed about the fact I could have joined Inter,” Baptista told Rete ‘O Globo.
“In fact, there was something concrete and I gave my availability to move to Milan. Inter are a very prestigious club and it would have been a wonderful experience for me.
“But I now want to do well at Roma and my objective is to make the [Brazil] travelling party for the World Cup in South Africa.”
