Pastore has been linked with moves to the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid in recent weeks.
“I want to clear something up: Pastore is calm and happy to stay at Palermo,” Marcelo Simonian told Tuttomercatoweb.
“Javier is truly content to stay a Rosanero player.
“Javier wants to remain at Palermo. I have not been speaking to any other teams, and I have not offered him to anyone.
“We are saying the same things at least five times a day, and I know he wants to remain.
“[Palermo president Maurizio] Zamparini wants to keep him. He has Javier’s interests at heart, and we are all proud of the work he is doing at the club.”
