Saviola’s current contract expires in June and the Argentine striker has admitted that he expects to leave the Nou Camp at the end of this season.
Begiristain said: “I understand Saviola’s concerns. But he must understand that we are fighting for the championship.
“When we make him our offer, I am confident he will accept it.”
