Barcelona closing in on Liverpool midfielder Xabi

Negotiations between the two clubs are at an advanced stage for Xabi, says the newspaper.

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez does not want to lose Xabi, but may be forced to sell him as he has refused to agree on a new contract extension at Anfield.
