The 39-year-old has been in charge at Barcelona since 2008, but has recently hinted that he would be keen on the job to replace Sir Alex Ferguson as Manchester United boss.
“As a player I was interested but it was not possible,” said Guardiola.
“I would not rule it out.
“It is not something I have planned yet but because of the nature of this job, I know I will not be here forever or even for many years.
“I don’t rule it out but neither is it something I am planning at the moment.”
