Barcelona have €35m to spend

Joan Boix believes Real Madrid could struggle with the way they are spending in the future.

“It surprises me that they have paid that much for those two players. It is wrong, not just because of the economic situation, and it is not good for anybody,” he told Ona FM.

“Txiki [Begiristain] and Pep [Guardiola] know the options we have and we will be keeping our feet on the ground. The problem Madrid will have is that in a few years they will start owing money. We have had profits of €10m, €12m and €15m recently and we are using this. With that we will have €50m, then we will take €10-15m for investments in the club and the rest will be to lower debt. At the end, we can speak of about €30-35m to spend.”
