The Sun says the Nou Camp bosses see Alonso as an excelent replacement for Toure.
Toure has been linked with both Arsenal and Juventus in recent months, and reports suggest the Old Lady are ready to bid around £10million for the Spaniard in January.
It is believed Alonso would be delighted with a move back to spain.
