The Italy international has been linked with Serie B leaders Juventus.
Barzagli said: “No-one’s said that I must leave at the end of this season. Perhaps president (Maurizio) Zamparini will offer something interesting to convince me to stay.
“To fight for the Champions League with Palermo next season would be beautiful.”
