Media reports suggest that Chelsea are keen to hang on to the 18-year-old starlet. However, the winger has just 18 months left on his contract, so the London club may decide to cash in on the bright young star.

Hudson-Odoi is regarded as one of the most promising young attacking players in English football. However, Bayern Munich along with Dortmund and RB Leipzig are understood to have been monitoring the youngsters game time at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are hoping to extend Hudson-Odoi’s contract, but reportedly the winger is concerned about his likely game time with the club in the near future.

A move to the Bundesliga would see the youngster follow in the footsteps of compatriots and youngsters Jadon Sancho and Reiss Nelson by plying his trade in the German top-flight.

A potential midfield shake-up

Media agencies across Europe are claiming that Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has agreed to join Monaco from Chelsea. However, reports suggest that Fabregas will not leave Stamford Bridge unless the Blues find a replacement.

Sky claim that the London club are close to signing Italian central midfielder Nicolo Barella and also Zenit St Petersburg’s Argentina star Leandro Paredes. If, or more likely when Chelsea seal a deal for one of the midfielders, then Fabregas would then exit the club.

The Spanish international has been at Chelsea since 2014 when he joined from Barcelona. He has just six months remaining on his Blues contract. The midfielder has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge this season under Maurizio Sarri.

A move to Monaco would see Fabregas join up with Thierry Henry, who the midfielder played alongside at Arsenal earlier in his career. The Frenchman has struggled to move the team from the principality away from the Ligue One drop zone, but Fabregas would certainly add some quality to the struggling French side.
