The 17-year-old midfielder is part of Bayern’s Champions League squad and has already featured for Austria, becoming their youngest-ever international.
“As a child I dreamed of playing for Arsenal,” he revealed in Der Standard.
“I admire their philosophy.
“There is a lot of work with youngsters and the way they play football is wonderful.
“But I feel very well at Bayern.
“I also want to play in a major tournament with Austria but I must improve in all areas.”
