The Premier League champions will not be offering the 33-year-old a new contract and Belletti’s current deal is set to expire at the end of the month.
Belletti joined Chelsea from Barcelona on a three-year deal in the summer of 2007.
Earlier on Wednesday the Blues confirmed that Joe Cole and Michael Ballack would also be leaving the club after failing to agree new deals with the duo.
