Portuguese newspaper Record reports that Benfica are ready to sell the Paraguay international after the striker indicated that he would be keen on a move to a bigger league.
Cardozo scored 36 goals in all competitions for Benfica last season.
The highly rated striker has been linked with Manchester City in recent weeks.
