Joe Hart is set to return to Manchester City when his loan spell at Birmingham expires at the end of the season.
McLeish said: “I would not rule out another loan for a keeper. That is a situation I would be happy to do again.
“I think we all know the Premier League and the likely candidates to be allowed out on loan, but so do a lot of other clubs too.
“We will see what we can sort out, but there will certainly be competition.”
