Zigic joined the Blues for an undisclosed fee and the striker has signed a four-year contract.
Reports claim Birmingham have paid around £6million for the striker.
Zigic is the Blues’ third signing of the summer. The club have already signed Ben Foster and Spanish midfielder Enric Valles.
