Blanc told Juventus Channel: “This victory is the best answer that the team could give after the elimination in the Champions League. I am happy with the boys’ performance especially the younger players who tonight really sent a beautiful message to all.”
Blanc also commented on David Trezeguet’s feaud with coach Claudio Ranieri.
He said: “The elimination from the cup brought frustration but there are rules which must be respected and Ranieri did well to react in that manner.”
