Borini joined the Blues as a trainee in July last year and has impressed for Premier League side.
“There will soon be a meeting with Chelsea for the renewing of the contract,” Borini’s agent Marco De Marchi told Calciomercato.it.
“In London, Fabio is very good,” he added. “The management are very pleased with his performances and Carlo Ancelotti rates him highly.”
De Marchi does not expect Borini to be loaned out to an Italian side once he has signed a new deal.
He said: “I don’t think so.
“He wants to remain with the Blues but if there are other options we will evaluate them.”
