Bosingwa joined Chelsea from Portuguese side Porto in the summer and have been a hit in the Premier League.
“I didn’t know I would adapt quite so quickly but I knew the football in England would suit me,” he told the Daily Mail. “It is very competitive and very fast – exactly the kind of football I like.
“But it has also helped me having Scolari here. He had already helped me when he was in charge of the national team in Portugal, and his arrival at Chelsea made it easier for me to settle in. He knows me and he knows me as a player.”
