Brown completed an hour of action in the 4-0 win to the United reserves of PReston in the final of the Lancashire Senior Cup.
Danny Drinkwater, Lee Martin, Nicky Ajose and Matty James scored the goals for United.
Brown has been out of action since November due to a foot problem.
