The three-year extension will keep Brunt at The Hawthorns until the summer of 2015.
West Brom manager Roy Hodgson said: “I’m pleased Chris has been rewarded with this extension on improved terms. It is fully deserved.”
Brunt has developed into a key player for Albion since joining the club from Sheffield Wednesday in a £3million deal in 2007.
