Datasport claims Arsenal have made a €6million bid for Marchetti, but Cagliari are holding out for €9million.
“He expressed his desire to leave through the media,” read a statement on the official Cagliari website yesterday.
“The club will do everything to make him happy, so if Marchetti does leave Cagliari, then our first choice will be Michael Agazzi.
“Cagliari are not looking for a different first choice goalkeeper.”
