The new deal will keep the former Real Madrid star at the club until 2014.
A statement on the club’s official website reads: “FC Internazionale and Esteban Cambiasso would like to communicate that with reciprocal satisfaction a deal to extend his contract with the club until June 30, 2014 has been reached.
“A press conference with the player will be held at Appiano Gentile on Wednesday March 25.”
