The 35-year-old has undergone a medical at the Old Lady and is set to leave Real Madrid and make his return to Juventus.
“Cannavaro is an important acquisition for us, even though the fans still are emotional about when he left three years ago,” Blanc stressed in an interview with Tuttosport.
“We have set our sights on two purchases, and hopefully one can be closed today. The other [Diego] will be pushed forward by Alessio Secco with all of his determination, and we hope to announce it in the next few days.”
