The BLues have signed Ross Turnbull, Daniel Sturridge and Yuri Zhirkov so far this summer.
“The squad always needs one, two or three new players,” the Czech Republic international told Sport.cz.
“But a lot depends on the coach’s ideas. We have a new coach who will want to learn about the team before looking for some new signings.
“I think it is too early for new signings. Now we are going to spend one week training in London and then we leave for the United States on a 10-day tour.
“So there is still plenty of time and space for new signings to be made. I am sure new faces will emerge as well as some leaving the club. Chelsea will do business.”
