The 27-year-old is expected to join the Danish side on loan until the end of the season.
Hooiveld joined Celtic in a £2million deal from Swedish giants AIK Stockholm in January 2010.
The defender has fallen down the pecking order at Celtic Park, under current manager Neil Lennon.
