News of the World says a Barca move for Lampard is tipped as a near certainty.
Lampard has discussed the Spanish club with former teammate Eidur Gudjohnsen: “I believe it would be a great experience to play at a club like that.”
He added: “Eidur speaks wonders of Barcelona. He is enchanted with the lifestyle.”
Barcelona midfielder Deco looks set to leave the Nou Camp at the end of this season and the Catalans wants to replace him with Lampard.
