Chelsea boss demands improvement ahead of Champions League draw

Following last night’s 0-0 stalemate, in which Chelsea’s superstar forward trio of Anelka, Drogba and Torres all featured, Ancelotti bemoans the lack of clinical finishing in front of goal.

He said: “We had so many chances to score – we didn’t have to tonight but we will have to in the future. So we need to be more precise in front of goal, but these are little details.”

But he remains bullish about his side’s chances of success in this year’s competition, stating:

“We have a squad that’s strong enough to win it.All the players are fit, the team is strong enough. If we play at 100%, we have a possibility to get to the final stages of the Champions League.”
