Mourinho said after the win over Charlton on Saturday: “We really had to fight for this win.
“This was not the kind of game to play with the flair we want and in the last 15 minutes it was just about keeping a result.
“But when the opponent decides to kick high balls into the box, I feel very comfortable when I have Petr Cech there.
“He is the best in the world. Everything looks easy with him and when he is there it gives the central defence so much confidence knowing he is behind them.”
