Cole has not started a Premier League match for Chelsea so far this season.
He said: “Anyone who is not playing at their club wants to start more. I’m always professional, train hard and when I get my chance I’ll take it with both hands. It certainly won’t affect my England form, I might be even more fresh.
“I’ve had a full pre-season, the first one I’ve had in years because I’ve been disrupted by injuries before.
“So I’m looking forward and I feel sharp. I cannot wait for the games for England.”
