Daily Russian tabloid Tvoi Den says Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has agreed to pay £18.6million for the CSKA star.
The newspaper quotes Zhirkov’s agent as saying: “Yury (Zhirkov) has signed the contract with Chelsea just a day or two ago. He will join his new team this summer.
Andrea Pirlo, Xabi Alonso and Sergio Aguero have also been linked with The Blues.
