The striker told Chelsea’s website: “It will be my first tournament but most important is just to be focused here at Chelsea and if I am in good shape for my club, that is also very good for my national team.
“We knew we were going to go through, it was not a surprise.
“But it was also very important that we went through the qualification competition without losing any games. It was good for confidence.”
