Former Liverpool and Tottenham forward Peter Crouch has made his prediction for the clash between his two former clubs on Saturday evening.
Both clubs have made an unbeaten start to the season, but Crouch believes Liverpool will come out on top.
“Mine was 2-1 Liverpool,” Crouch predicted on his That Peter Crouch Podcast, which is among the most popular football podcasts there is at the moment.
“I have allegiance to both clubs and I could easily have sat on the fence there.”
When asked on the football podcast who he wanted to win, Crouch became hesitant.
“That’s a big question and I will sit on the fence there!” he laughed.
“It’s a hard one that, because I started at Spurs but I have such an allegiance to Liverpool, a massive one.
“But I think Liverpool nick this one, the danger is the front three are emphatic, I think Spurs are a joy to watch but I just think Liverpool have got the edge.”
