Former Liverpool and Tottenham forward Peter Crouch has made his prediction for the clash between his two former clubs on Saturday evening.

Crouch believes Liverpool will come out on top and his final prediction is 2-0 to the hosts at Anfield. The former Liverpool striker also suggests that two ore more goals for Mohamed Salah could be a decent bet.

“Obviously I am going to be slighly biased towards Liverpool, but I think you will have to be at this stage of the season,” Crouch said on his That Peter Crouch Podcast, one of the best football podcasts there is at the moment.

“Liverpool look good at the moment. Everton not quite so much. Its picked up lately. You know slightly better.

“I still fancy Liverpool strongly. Mo Salah, he has scored five times in nine games against Everton. Salah with two or more goals is 5 to 1, that is a decent return.

“I still think Liverpool will be too strong for Everton.

“I remember playing this game and it was my first derby and I remember scoring at Goodison and it was one of the best moments that I had in a Liverpool shirt.”

He added his prediction on the podcast later: “I am going for Liverpool 2-0.”
