The Scot believes that criticism aimed at Arsenal and their manager Arsene Wenger is unjust.
“Arsenal will be a formidable force for us to play against. Whatever Arsène’s opinions are, he’s entitled to them,” he said. “What other clubs do doesn’t affect us until we play them. They have lost Fábregas, look like they are losing Nasri and have a couple suspended. But it will still be a difficult game. Whoever goes on the pitch for them will play with the same principles. I’ve no doubts about how we will approach it. The players know they are going to a difficult place for a hard game.”
