Daud happy with new Juventus deal

The 19-year-old has been linked with West Ham and Tottenham in recent weeks after impressing at the Viareggio Carnival Cup.

“It was a great pleasure to sign for Juve because they welcomed me when I was nine-years-old,” Daud told Calciomercato.it.

“They are like my second home and I was always hoping to get a contract here because I wanted to remain a Bianconero. [Sporting director Alessio] Secco complimented me for my achievements in Viareggio and then said we would have to meet at the club’s headquarters.

“Juve are always Juve. They are impeccable in everything they do, that is their style, the technical aspect is undisputed, as is their tradition. They always tell us: we are Juve, if you come in second, you will have failed.”
