Spurs were beaten 3-2 by City, despite Mario Balotelli deserving to see red for a stamp on Scott Parker.
They were also fortunate that Joleon Lescott managed to fall on the ball in a way that saw it head straight into the goal, rather than anywhere else.
“We were really unlucky. If you look at their second goal, for example, Scott Parker blocked it against Joleon [Lescott], who didn’t even know where the ball was, and it went in. That’s the luck they got, as well as a last-minute penalty.”
